The Buddha (serial) originally on Indian TV in 2013, later made into a DVD offering on Amazon ($100) and still later broadcast on Netflix for a few years. No longer available on DVD or Netflix. 55 or so episodes that traces his origins to enlightenment and then his ministry. One of my favorite series ever and has helped me to relate to Buddhist teaching ever since. After watching it for 52 weeks my wife and I went to India and did the Buddhist pilgrimage. Videos snippets are available on YouTube, but you have to search to fins any with English subtitles.
